It appears as though Shelby Miller's 2.07 first half ERA did not go unnoticed as he was named to the National League All-Star team. This is also his first career selection and he will be the only representative for the Braves (at least at this point).
This is the first All-Star game nod for Shelby Miller, who has turned in a 2.07 ERA in the first half. #Braves

#Braves pitcher Shelby Miller selected to NL All-Star team -- his first selection in his third full season and 1st with ATL

Shelby has been terrific the entire season, but has not exactly been given the best run support. His 5-4 record despite a 2.07 ERA has had much more to do with the offense seemingly shutting down when he is on the mound. Luckily, record wasn't a determining factor for selection and Shelby deservedly got a spot on the roster. The rest of the rosters were announced as well, take a look at who will be joining Shelby in Cincinnati (starters had already been voted on and announced).
