The Atlanta Braves kicked off a series in Milwaukee with a strong start and a win against the Brewers on Monday, and the visiting team will look for an equally impressive follow-up on Tuesday evening.
Fredi Gonzalez will send Manny Banuelos to the mound for his second career start, and the 24-year-old was extremely impressive in his debut last week. The left-hander flashed the high-end "stuff" that Braves fans anticipated upon his arrival from New York, and if he can keep it together, the sky is the limit for his second outing.
On the Milwaukee side, the Brewers were forced to change their starting pitcher, as scheduled starter Matt Garza hit the DL on Monday. Insert 25-year-old right-hander Tyler Cravy, who has pitched only 9 career MLB innings across two outings (one start). Needless to say, the Braves will be scrambling for good scouting reports in advance of this one.
