The Gwinnett Braves were shutout by the Tides on Tuesday and managed just 3 base runners in the entire game. Cedric Hunter and Daniel Castro had the only hits. Kanekoa Texiera didn't have a bad outing, but he received zero run support and took his 3rd loss. Andrew McKirahan threw a scoreless inning in his 2nd appearance since returning.

  • Emerson Landoni SS: 3-4, 2 R, 2B, 2 RBI, .238/.283/.285

Unlike Gwinnett, the Mississippi Braves generated plenty of offense and won in blowout fashion over the Generals. The Braves had 13 hits in the game and brought across 6 runs in the 6th inning to blow it wide open. Emerson Landoni led the team with 3 hits and drove in 2 runs. Victor Mateo got the job done on the mound by allowing just 1 run in 6 innings.

The Carolina Mudcats took an early 1-0 lead after 3 innings in this one, but starter Andrew Waszak ran in some trouble in the 4th and 5th innings, and the Mudcats were unable to bounce back offensively. Waszak had a rough start allowing 7 hits and 4 walks in just 4.1 innings of work. Dustin Peterson and Connor Lien led the team offensively with 2 hits each.

  • Mitchell Osnowitz RP: Loss (0-1), 1.2 IP, H, R, 0 ER, BB, 4 SO, 1.88 ERA

Much like Gwinnett, the Rome Braves weren't able to generate much offensively in this game. They managed only 3 hits but were able to bring across 2 runs. Jordan Edgerton had 2 of those hits and also contributed an RBI and a run scored. All 3 runs allowed by the Braves were unearned due to 2 different errors by Omar Obregon. The final one in the 9th inning came back around to allow a walk-off single for the RiverDogs. Mitchell Osnowitz received the bad-luck loss for that walk-off despite striking out 4 batters and 1.2 innings and allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk.
