The Atlanta Braves have the first of two off days this week on Monday, and that brings forth a perfect opportunity to take a look at the rest of the league. In that vein, there is a shortened schedule on the docket, but some interesting match-ups are out there that can be exploited in the world of DFS.
SB Nation and FanDuel continue to partner on daily fantasy baseball, and we regularly bring you "recommended" lineups. Today, we will break out a winning (we hope) group for the slate, and hopefully, things will go well.
As usual, fading my picks may be your best option, so if you do that, I won't be offended in the slightest.
Note: This lineup would be used in a 7:10 pm ET contest.

OF - Mark Trumbo ($2,400)
Hello, Seattle! I've included four members of the Mariners lineup here, and it is no coincidence that they are all right-handed. Orioles left-hander Wei-Yin Chen has had all kinds of trouble against right-handed power in his career, and Cruz (the biggest buy of the day), Jackson, Trumbo and Zunino are all capable of making him pay.
Elsewhere, I've invested heavily in Manny Machado (against LHP Vidal Nuno) and Ryan Howard (against Rubby De La Rosa in a good ballpark for power) and filled out the roster with strong middle infielders with upside in Zobrist and Desmond. On the pitching side, going with Ian Kennedy over the likes of Chris Sale and Johnny Cueto is a risk, but the discount is heavy and I like Kennedy at Petco against a relatively weak Reds lineup.
The slogan, as always, is to simply make money, and this lineup can (hopefully) help you get there. Let's do this together.
