Earlier today, the Gwinnett Braves revealed their lineup for their their game on Wednesday night, and one name was missing from that particular lineup card: Freddie Freeman. Naturally, this led to speculation that Freeman was on his way to San Diego, and as I'm typing this right now, he's just arrived at Petco Park and will be activated from the Disabled List in time for tomorrow's game against the Padres.

Will be reinstated from DL tomorrow.</p>— David O'Brien (@DOBrienAJC) <a href="https://twitter.com/DOBrienAJC/status/633783338499571712">August 18, 2015</a></blockquote>

Last week, the Braves said that they expected to bring up Freeman by August 19th, and sure enough, he'll be activated on the 19th; Exactly 15 days after he returned to the Disabled List with a strained oblique, which he sustained shortly after coming back from a wrist injury.
Clearly, it's good news that Freeman is feeling healthy enough to return from the 15-day DL in 15 days. Here's hoping that his injury woes are behind him so that he can finish the season in a strong manner.
Meanwhile, Hector Olivera is continuing to rehab, and he should be coming up to the big leagues to make his Atlanta Braves debut, soon. So, one very familiar face will be making his return to the lineup tomorrow, and an anticipated new face should be coming soon. Both guys will probably receive a hero's welcome to the clubhouse upon their arrival.
