- Tyrell Jenkins SP: Win (3-1), 6 IP, 5 H, ER, 4 BB, 8 SO, 2.03 ERA
The Gwinnett Braves used a strong outing from Tyrell Jenkins to get a 3-2 victory on Saturday over the Durham Bulls. Jenkins walked a few more batters than we'd like to see, but he was generating plenty of swings-and-misses on his way to 8 strikeouts in 6 innings of work. The top of the order did its job in the game with Mallex Smith and Eric Young Jr. accounting for 5 of the 10 hits for the Braves and scoring 2 of the 3 runs.
(52-51) Mississippi Braves 3, (57-46) Birmingham Barons 7
- David Rohm RF: 2-5, RBI, 2 SO, SB (4), .255/.324/.309

- Lucas Sims SP: Loss (0-2), 2 IP, 8 H, 7 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO, 8.49 ERA
A disastrous 2nd inning on the mound for Lucas Sims put the Mississippi Braves in a big hole against the Barons. Birmingham brought across all 7 of their runs in the inning to quickly erase the 1-0 deficit after a 1st inning run from the Braves. Sims would be pulled after the inning to cap off a disappointing start.

Behind Brandon Barker's impressive outing, the Mudcats were able to grind out a win despite having just 6 hits in the game. All 6 hits came from a different Carolina starter. All of the damage was done in the 3rd inning, where the Mudcats would score the final 3 runs in the game to take the 3-1 win. Barker allowed just 4 hits in 6 innings of work to continue his good season and pick up his 6th win.

Ozhaino Albies and Omar Obregon provided a nice 1-2 punch at the top of the lineup with 5 hits, 2 runs, and an RBI.
(14-19) GCL Braves 5, (12-16) GCL Yankees1 11

Jaret Hellinger has been very impressive so far for the Braves, but he struggled in his 2 innings against the Yankees to pick up his 2nd loss of the year. Ronald Acuna had 2 hits including a double and his 7th stolen base to lead the offense.
