Gwinnett was the only minor league team that managed a win on Friday, and they did it mostly courtesy of Joey Terdoslavich, who scored or knocked in every single run Gwinnett scored. Christian Bethancourt and Sean Kazmar knocked in the 2 runs Terdoslavich didn't, and Hector Olivera (1-4) scored the other run on Terdoslavich's first inning home run. Cedric Hunter also added 2 hits on the night. Vin Mazzaro got the win for Gwinnett, throwing 2 scoreless innings to lower his ERA with the Braves to 1.08.

Stephen Janas had a bit of a hiccup today, posting one of his worst outings of the season and falling to 1-6 in AA. The offense provided little help, scoring only 2 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks. The offense struggled especially with runners in scoring position, going 1-6 and leaving 6 on base. Rio Ruiz has been hitting better lately, and has raised his batting average to the highest it has been since July 18. Mitch Lambson pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief, and has put up a 0.68 ERA since his demotion to AA.

Carolina came into this one winners having won 4 straight games, but were not able to extend that streak as the offense came up short on runs. Keith Curcio was the only player with multiple hits in this one, with 4 others getting a hit apiece. Player of The Week Dustin Peterson was one of those, and has now hit in 6 of his last 7. Blair Walters took his 7th loss of the season, and despite his sub-3 ERA has a record below .500. Richie Tate and Andy Otero pitched scoreless in relief for Carolina, and both sit with a 2.28 ERA on the season

After having their 4 game win streak snapped on Monday Rome has continued to lose, dropping 5 straight while scoring just 3 runs total. They were able to scratch out a first inning run today, but couldn't put up anything else down the stretch while Asheville scored once in each of the first four innings. They only managed 3 hits on the day, and didn't draw any walks, so baserunners were at a premium. Zach Quintana had a rough start, though he was able to somewhat work around a lot of hits, but couldn't do well enough to help Rome win this one.

Ryan Clark suffered his first loss on the season for Danville, who is now on a 5 game losing streak after they had worked themselves back to .500 on the 15th. The offense was able to out hit Greeneville 10-7, but couldn't put hits together when it counted going 0-6 with runners in scoring position and leaving 13 runners on base. Jake Lanning led the team with 3 hits, and Trey Keegan also had a multi hit game. Juan Yepez went 0-4, dropping his average since his promotion to .169.

Isranel Wilson's home run was his 8th of the year, tying him for the GCL lead. Unfortunately, those two were not enough, as the rest of the offense was thoroughly shut down. Evertz Orosco pitched 1 inning, and gave up the go ahead run on a home run in the 8th, earning his first loss on the season
