Freddie Freeman just recently returned from the disabled list after going down with a wrist injury. While the offense hasn't really produced in his return, it was nice to see him back in the lineup and keep opposing pitchers honest.
Unfortunately, its possible that his return may be short lived
Chris Johnson is in the game to play first base here in the fifth. Freeman is out. #Braves

#Braves C. Johnson replaces Freeman at 1B top 5th. No word on Freeman's status.

And no, Freeman has not been traded. Not going to speculate, but have to wonder if it's related to his wrist. We'll keep ya posted.

FWIW, Freeman barely ran after grounding out in his last at bat. No idea if he did something on that swing, or coming out of the box though.

There is no word as to whether it was an injury that caused him to be pulled from the game or even if Fredi Gonzalez benched him for other, unknown reasons. We will keep this story updated as it develops.
**UPDATE***
Freddie Freeman left the game with an oblique injury and is currently considered day-to-day
#Braves say Freeman left with a right oblique injury. He's listed as day-to-day.
