Game Thread 8/30: Braves vs. Yankees

With Julio Teheran on the mound, Atlanta looks to avoid a three-game sweep by New York.

After dropping game two Saturday night, 3-1, the Atlanta Braves will try and steal a game from their series at Turner Field against the New York Yankees this afternoon. Julio Teheran gets the nod on the hill, and will be opposed by Nathan Eovaldi — who leads the Yankees with 13 wins this season. Both pitchers have been receiving the most run support from their respective teams this season as well.
