Mike Foltynewicz was the scheduled starter for the Atlanta Braves, but was scratched due to what has been termed "fever and viral symptoms." That means Shelby Miller makes the start tonight for Atlanta. Miller is on normal rest, since the Braves had an off day last Thursday, August 27.
Miller takes the hill looking to stop a skid that has seen the Braves lose five games in a row and 12 out of the last 13 with a sweep by the Yankees over the weekend. The Miami Marlins will send out Chris Narveson, who made his first start since 2012 last week. Narveson was roughed up in that start, so maybe the Braves' bats will come alive on Monday night.
