For some time now, many of us have been speculating as to who will be called up to the majors for the month of September. During that month, major league rosters are expanded to include the entire 40 man roster, if for no other reason than to spell players on teams who are in the midst of playoff races or to give teams a chance to look at young talent at a higher level of competition.
In almost all cases, these have only included players who are currently on the 40 man roster (its rare that a player is added to the 40 man roster and then added to the major league team in September). This meant it was always very unlikely that Mallex Smith and the like were going to see time in Atlanta this month. Tyrell Jenkins was a possibility given his presence on the roster, but it looks like for now we will only see four players tomorrow.
Hector Olivera, Manny Banuelos, Brandon Cunniff and Danny Burawa are among those expected to be added to Atlanta's roster tomorrow

Manny Banuelos is going to be a welcome addition to a pitching staff that has really struggled of late, although he is most certainly on an innings cap that he is rapidly approaching despite his injury. Most of his work will likely be out of the bullpen. Banuelos has sported a 2.18 ERA in the minors this year and a 2.49 ERA and 4.51 FIP in 5 games in the majors.
Hector Olivera is likely to be the most exciting name to see tomorrow as well as the most expected. Acquired from the Dodgers that sent Jim Johnson and Alex Wood to LA, Olivera is touted as the 3B of the Braves immediate future after a successful career in the Cuban professional ranks. While he has taken a bit longer to recover from a hamstring injury than fans have hoped, he has still provided steady production in the minors this year with a .272/.326/.376 slash line in 2015 including his rehab starts.
Brandon Cunniff saw extensive time with the Braves this season and was off to a great start until inconsistency plagued him until he went down with a groin injury. In 30 games, he had a 4.29 ERA and 3.99 FIP with the Braves.
Danny Burawa has split time between the Yankees and Braves minor league systems this year (the Braves claimed him off waivers) and has a 2.69 ERA in 39 appearances, including 4 starts.
