FanDuel Fantasy Baseball Picks: September 11

Friday night's DFS slate is jam-packed and we're here to help.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Some fans of the Atlanta Braves may just be waking up after the (extremely) late finish on Thursday night, but we're wide awake in this space. On this fine Friday, there is plenty to consume, but the DFS slate is jam-packed and we're here to take advantage.

SB Nation and FanDuel continue to partner on daily fantasy baseball, and we regularly bring you "recommended" lineups. Today, we will break out a winning (we hope) group for the evening slate, and hopefully, things will go well.

Editor's Note: SB Nation's partner FanDuel is hosting a $100,000 one-day fantasy baseball league today. It's $3 to join and first place wins $8,000. Enter now!

As usual, fading my picks may be your best option, so if you do that, I won't be offended in the slightest.

Note: This lineup would be used in a 7:05 pm ET contest.

P - Steven Matz ($8,600)

C - Miguel Montero ($2,700)

1B - Paul Goldschmidt ($4,000)

2B - Anthony Rendon ($3,300)

3B - Manny Machado ($3,500)

SS - Ian Desmond ($3,200)

OF - Curtis Granderson ($3,600)

OF - Justin Ruggiano ($3,500)

OF - Nolan Reimold ($2,500)

It is probably mean to go against the Braves, but we are with Matz on the mound. He is relatively cheap on Friday, in part because Matz exited his last start with a blister, but he has a high ceiling given Atlanta's offensive woes.

Elsewhere, Curtis Granderson is a good bet for a long ball against Matt Wisler, and we'll start there. Paul Goldschmidt is the big ticket item in the lineup in a prime match-up against a left-hander in Arizona, and we've spent real money on Manny Machado and Justin Ruggiano in platoon-friendly games.

Finally, close the lineup out with the middle infield of the Nationals (both quite cheap) and the duo of Montero and Reimold as low-cost options. The wide-ranging schedule gives a great deal of options, but these are mine.

The slogan, as always, is to simply make money, and this lineup can (hopefully) help you get there. Let's do this together.
