The Atlanta Braves will try to get back in the win column on Saturday when they continue their four-game series with the New York Mets. Atlanta dropped the series opener on Friday by a 7-2 score and lost 5-1 on Saturday. Yoenis Cespedes drove in three runs on Saturday including a long home run in the ninth.
Williams Perez gets the call for Atlanta and looks to build on a strong start last time out. Perez allowed two runs and six hits in seven innings as the Braves snapped a 12-game losing streak with a win over the Phillies. It was Perez's first win since returning from disabled list on July 31.
He will be opposed by New York's Noah Syndergaard who is 8-6 on the season with a 3.31 ERA. He allowed four runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings while earning a no decision last time out against Boston.
