The Atlanta Braves received a jolt of energy on Tuesday night with a win against the Toronto Blue Jays, as Andrelton Simmons got the walk-off base hit to wrap up the 3-2 victory. The win eradicated a franchise record 12 game losing streak at home.
Shelby Miller will take the hill for the Braves, looking to snap an unbelievable 21-game winless streak. He will go up against midseason acquisition David Price. It is not too often that a matchup between pitchers with won-loss records of 5-14 and 15-5 is considered to be an outstanding pitchers' duel, but that is what we have tonight.
The Braves looked as if they got a monkey off their back with the win last night. If they duplicate that result tonight, a series victory that looked highly unlikely just yesterday will come to fruition.
