Hey, the Braves beat the Mets on Tuesday night! More importantly, the Braves beat the Mets in New York, which is rather amazing. Why?
As @BravesAmerica pointed out on Twitter, the win was the Braves' first victory outside the cities of Atlanta and Philadelphia since July 26. The Braves beat the Cardinals at Busch Stadium that day, improving their record to 46-52. Now the club is 61-91, meaning it went 15-39 since beating the Redbirds that day.
Let's recap the Braves since July 26:
0-3 @ Baltimore
1-3 @ Philadelphia
1-2 vs. Giants
3-1 vs. Marlins
0-2 @ Rays
1-2 vs. Diamondbacks
0-3 @ San Diego
0-4 @ Chicago

0-3 vs. Yankees
0-3 vs. Marlins
0-4 @ Washington
2-1 @ Philadelphia
0-4 @ New York Mets
