As we watch this season come to a merciful end, its always nice to be able to look to next season and see what it is to come. Luckily, some more news about 2016 (as opposed to this season which is essentially a race for the number one pick in the draft) just came out as the tentative schedule for the 2016 season was just released.
The good news: There are several very good teams on tap for the Braves early in the season so we will know very early on how the rebuild is going
The bad news: There are several very good teams on tap for the Braves early in the season so we will know very early on how the rebuild is going
#Braves open at home vs. #Nationals on April 4, just the second time in six seasons they open season in ATL.

The Cardinals, Dodgers and Red Sox will be among the teams that come to Turner Field in April next year.

Certainly not an easy schedule early on for the Braves with two likely division winners and the (possibly good) Nationals coming to town. The Red Sox are always a big draw at Turner Field and while they are certainly not a good team this year, they always spend to try to put a good team out on the field so the Braves' mettle will be tested early.
For those of you who are interested in seeing what AL teams will be visiting Turner Field this year (or for you Braves fans who reside in other markets), we are happy to help you out
#Braves play 8 interleague series in 2016. BOS (4/25-26), CLE (6/27-29), MIN (8/16-17) & DET (9/30-10/2) at Turner Field.

#Braves Interleague road games for 2016: Boston (April 27-28), KC (May 13-15), Chicago (July 8-10), Minnesota (July 26-27)

There are certainly a lot of quirks to every schedule and for this one they have yet to be sorted out, but of particular note is that next season will be the last one that the Braves play at Turner Field. In what should be a packed house to mark the end of the team's residence there (unless there are playoff games to be played), the Braves will play host to the Tigers
Final series of the 2016 regular season is a three game set against the Detroit Tigers, Sept 30-Oct 2 at Turner Field.
