The Game Ender will now have some hardware to go with the highlights that he racked up during his first season in Atlanta. They’ve announced the winners for the 2016 Gold Gloves, and Ender Inciarte is the winner in center field.

When it came to the stats, Ender Inciarte finished the season with 15 DRS (good for 3rd among all outfielders in the National League, according to Fangraphs), a UZR of 13.4 (2nd among all OFs in the NL), and a UZR/150 of 16.0 (3rd among all OFs in the NL). The statistics clearly showed that Inciarte was an elite defender in the outfield, but how about the eye test?

Well, here’s a quick look at just a few of the highlights that Ender delivered during the 2016 season.

Then there’s the reason why he’s called The Game Ender. You’ve seen it a million times now, but you may as well make it a million-and-one.

Ender Inciarte passed both the stats test and the eye test, and this is an award that’s well-deserved. Here’s hoping that this is the first of many that he’ll earn as a member of the Braves.
