The Atlanta Braves fired manager Fredi Gonzalez Tuesday morning replacing him with Triple-A manager Brian Snitker. They also shook up the coaching staff as well parting ways with bench coach Carlos Tosca and replacing him with Terry Pendleton.

Eddie Perez moves in to be the new first base coach replacing Pendleton while Marty Reed takes over bullpen coaching duties. Third base coach Bo Porter will remain a part of the Braves' major league staff.

Tosca was in his sixth season with the Braves. He previously served as bench coach for Gonzalez during his stint with the Miami Marlins from 2007-2010. He is a former manager of the Toronto Blue Jays and was a part of Buck Showalter's staff with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
