Johnson was placed on the disabled list back on May 10 with what was called a right groin strain. Johnson at one point strung together a streak of seven straight scoreless appearances but was struggling mightily before getting shut down. He has made 15 appearances for the Braves this season and has allowed 12 earned runs in 13 2/3 innings.
Johnson made three rehab appearances between Rome and Gwinnett throwing three innings while allowing three hits and no earned runs.
Weber replaced Jason Grilli on the active roster earlier this week after the Braves traded the veteran reliever to the Toronto Blue Jays. Weber threw two scoreless innings in relief in Thursday's loss to the Giants. He has appeared in four games for the Braves this season and has allowed nine earned runs in 9 2/3 innings.
