Chase d’Arnaud came through with an RBI single in the ninth to deliver a walk off 1-0 win for the Atlanta Braves over the Colorado Rockies.

Fans saw a pitching duel Sunday afternoon at Turner Field as Julio Teheran and Jon Gray matched zeros for most of the afternoon. The game remained scoreless until the ninth when Ender Inciarte led off the inning with a single against Rockies reliever Gonzalez German. Anthony Recker followed with a two-strike sacrifice bunt to advance Inciarte into scoring position and he later moved up to third on a wild pitch. German got pinch hitter Gordon Beckham to pop up for the second out before d’Arnaud lined a sharp single to left to score Inciarte and to give the Braves the win.

Teheran bounced back from a pair of sub par outings allowing just three hits over seven shutout innings. Gray matched him pitch for pitch allowing five hits over seven innings while striking out eight.

Atlanta finished with just seven hits and were just 1 for 9 with runners in scoring position. d’Arnaud led the way with three hits while Adonis Garcia had two. It was a forgettable day at the plate for Freddie Freeman who went 0 for 4 with four strikeouts.

With the win, Atlanta avoids a sweep and will now head out on the road for a nine-game road trip that will take them to Cincinnati, Colorado and Minnesota.
