Aaron Blair returned to the mound for the first time since August 28 and tossed six quality innings allowing four hits and two runs in a 7-3 win over the Mets. Freddie Freeman went 4-for-5 at the plate and hit his 31st home run of the season to pace Atlanta's offense.

Off strong relief effort, Weber earns start for Braves

Coming off a strong relief appearance, Ryan Weber will make his second start of the season for the Atlanta Braves in Wednesday's series finale against the New York Mets. The Braves' rotation has been in flux after injuries to Williams Perez and Mike Foltynewicz. Josh Collmenter filled in one of the spots this past Saturday and now Weber will get his turn Wednesday.
