The Atlanta Braves look to extend a season-best winning streak when they continue their series against the Miami Marlins. Aaron Blair will take the mound for the Braves on Saturday and will be looking to build off of a solid performance last time out.

Blair picked up his first career major league win in his last start after allowing four hits and two runs over six innings against the New York Mets. That was Blair’s first start since August 28 when the Braves took him out of the rotation to work on some mechanical issues. That work appeared to pay off as Blair allowed less than three runs for the first time six starts.

Miami will counter with left hander Wei-Yin Chen who is working his way back from an elbow sprain that cost him two months of the season. Chen made his first start since July last week and allowed four hits and three runs over 4 13 innings. Chen is expected to be limited to about 75-80 pitches on Saturday.

Freddie Freeman has been at the center of the Braves’ offensive resurgence in the second half and will be looking to extend a pair of streaks on Saturday. Freeman’s extended his hitting streak to 27 straight games with a double in Friday’s game. He has reached base in 43 straight games.
