Freddie Freeman is really good at baseball.
If you haven’t read Ivan’s article from earlier today where he highlights the Braves’ second half offensive resurgence, you should go do so immediately....I will wait right here.
Alright, now that you have read it, you will undoubtedly know that Freddie Freeman has been hitting the cover off the ball, in particular in the second half of season. Well, as we can plainly see here, he is showing no signs of slowing down.
Congratulations to @FreddieFreeman5 on winning the National League Player of the Week for the 3rd time this season! pic.twitter.com/aevP1CHwPQ

Aside from the video game numbers he posted above (and we are talking like “Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl”-type numbers, not “me playing any game published since Tecmo Bowl” type numbers), Freeman is also currently on a 28 game hit streak, a 44 game on base streak, and currently ranks in the top 10 in all of baseball in total WAR despite a sub-par first half and not playing a premium defensive position.
In short, Freddie Freeman is a bad man and Braves fans are lucky to have him.
