Phillies vs. Braves Game Thread: September 27

Game one between the Braves and Phillies gets going this evening.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Braves haven't played baseball in a few days, but as the season winds to a close, Julio Teheran takes the ball on Tuesday evening. That, as always, gives Brian Snitker's team the best chance to win, and that is the headliner as the Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies.

We will be with you throughout the evening to discuss all that occurs between the white lines and this contest begins the final National League series for Atlanta this season. Let's all enjoy it together with civility and decorum.

Now, here are tonight's lineups and particulars, featuring the notable absence of Matt Kemp.
