It has been a rough season for the Braves against the baseball club from Washington.

Counting Tuesday night’s 9-7 loss, the Braves are now 2-13 against the Nationals in 2016. Coming into the three-game series on a 7-game winning streak, the Braves will need a win on Wednesday to avoid another sweep to Washington.

The man they'll be counting on will be Mike Foltynewicz. In a repeat of the Aug. 12 matchup in which the Braves won, Stephen Strasburg will be on the mound for the Nationals. Strasburg will be making his first start since going on the Disabled List on Aug. 21. He was hit hard in his last start against the Braves, giving up six runs in 5.1 innings as Foltynewicz got the win.

Foltynewicz has won his last two starts, going a combined 13.2 innings while allowing just four runs against the Giants and Padres.

With two more hits on Tuesday, Trea Turner is now 18-for-42 (.429) against the Braves this season.
