The first college baseball game to be played at SunTrust Park will be held on Saturday, April 8 when Georgia hosts Missouri in an SEC contest at 1:30 p.m.

All proceeds from the game will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and tickets are on sale now. The game will provide an opportunity for fans to experience SunTrust Park and all of its amenities.

“This college matchup will be the first time the general public can really immerse themselves in SunTrust Park,” said Derek Schiller, Braves president, business. “With the excitement building around the ballpark, we think we have a great opportunity to have a large crowd in attendance, which would mean a lot of money raised for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.”

The Braves will play the first ever game at SunTrust Park on March 31 in an exhibition game against the New York Yankees. Atlanta opens the major league regular season on the road with an eight-game road trip before the official home opener on Friday, April 14 against the San Diego Padres.
