It’s been a long winter, but actual organized baseball games are rapidly approaching? How rapidly? Well, five teams kick off their Spring Training schedules tomorrow, and then there’s a full slate of games on Friday.

Braves fans will have to wait for the weekend to get their first glimpse at the crew assembled for 2017, but they get one special thing to look forward to: Bartolo Colon will headline the Braves’ first Grapefruit League game on Saturday, as reported by Mark Bowman.

In that game, the man aptly nicknamed “Big Sexy” will take on the Toronto Blue Jays, and will be followed by Julio Teheran, R.A. Dickey, Mike Foltynewicz, and Jaime Garcia, in that order.

Rotation hopefuls Aaron Blair, Matt Wisler, and John Danks will likely see multi-inning stints in relief of one of the exiting starters.

Are you ready for Colon-mania? I know I am.
