The Braves will have to wait at least another day to try to get rid of their current losing streak. The forecast for tonight's game at Citi Field against the Mets was always looking bleak as far as baseball was concerned, and the bleakness was confirmed as the game has been postponed far ahead of the scheduled first pitch.
The good news is that we will be treated to the rarity of a doubleheader later on this season, so that's something to look forward to when the season is winding down to its conclusion. Furthermore, Julio Teheran will still get to make his start tomorrow, so he won't be robbed of pitching in one of his "favorite" ballparks.
But for now, we'll have to do without our regular fix of Braves baseball. Hopefully the weather will clear up so these two can get a game in tomorrow evening.
