Game Thread 4/27: Braves vs. Mets

Thursday afternoon baseball!

At the outset of what was supposed to be a three-game series between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets, both teams were struggling mightily. As such, something had to give on Wednesday evening and things broke in Atlanta's favor to the tune of an 8-2 victory.

While it is not a typical "series finale" given the rainout on Tuesday, the Braves must try to beat up on Matt Harvey (who replaces Noah Syndergaard) on Thursday. That is a very difficult proposition, of course, but New York is scuffling and that provides some optimism.

Here are today's lineups and stay tuned throughout the day. Oh, and be cordial in the comments. That's always a plus.
