Going to keep it short and sweet this week. We were off last week as we braced ourselves for the coming minor league season and inevitable roster releases. Upon having said rosters in our hands, Gaurav, Garrett, and I went through each minor league level and discussed them in-depth. From the aggressive promotions to Mississippi to the potential of the Fire Frogs to the interesting pieces that could see time in Atlanta this year that are currently in Gwinnett, we talked about all of that and more in this week’s episode (spoilers: this is a long episode).
ICYMI: Episode 13 of @Road2Atlanta is up! We preview all of the MiLB rosters https://t.co/bZ1KvQv2yt

Starting next week, the format of R2A will change a bit. We will still have our news section where we discuss the important news of the week (big performances, trades, promotions, injuries, etc). Once we do that, we will be reviewing the previous week going level by level and talking about what we saw from a scouting standpoint. Not will we provide snapshots for that week (Player X had a good curve in his start), but we will also try to note adjustments, improvements, and steps back week-to-week to hopefully create an on-going narrative about the players’ development. Then we will take listener questions as per the usual which should hopefully cover all of our bases in terms of getting you, the people, all the information you could ever want about the Braves’ minor league system.
We will still occasionally have feature episodes where we cover a given topic in-depth (the draft, J2 signings, top prospect lists, etc), but for the most part this will be the format going forward. Thank you again to all of you for all of your support of the podcast up to now. It has been an absolute joy for us to do each week. In the end, the podcast is a labor of love for us and we try to keep things casual and fun. You guys all make it worth it....so thanks!
