Game Thread 5/1: Mets vs. Braves

The Braves will play just their eighth home game of the season tonight as they welcome the Mets to town.

The Office of the Commissioner was clearly in no rush to have the Braves knock the shine off of SunTrust Park, with tonight marking just their eighth home game thus far. They will play host to a Mets team that has been cursed by some kind of voodoo magic this season, with everything they hold dear leaving games with significant injuries.

Tonight the Braves will send out what has become their regular lineup (which means Dansby is batting eighth...):

The Mets will deploy a lineup that is notably devoid of star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, who re-aggravated a hamstring injury and was forced to leave last Thursday’s game against Atlanta. Here is how they will line up tonight:
