A night that started out with a six-run first inning took a drastic turn for the worse as Atlanta Braves fans’ worst nightmare came to fruition later in the game.
With one out away in the bottom of the fifth inning, Freddie Freeman was hit by a pitch on his left wrist and immediately exited the game.
As can be seen in the tweet below, Freeman appeared to be in a great deal of pain as trainer Jim Lovell examined his wrist.

Johan Camargo came in to pinch-hit for Freeman and moved to third base in the top of the sixth inning as Jace Peterson moved from third to first.
Continue to check back with Talking Chop as we’ll provide updates on the situation as soon as they are made available.
UPDATE --
Shortly after the game, MLB.com’s Mark Bowman tweeted this:
X-rays on Freeman were inconclusive. He'll undergo more tests tomorrow
