If we have learned anything about the Braves’ current draft plans from the recent mock drafts, is that we don’t know much about the Braves’ current draft plans. Information out of the information seems to be slim and even the most connected draft experts have yet to really zero in on the Braves’ plans, if for no other reason that things are still pretty unsettled with the picks ahead of them. There have been a ton of players that have been mocked to the Braves of late including Austin Beck, Shane Baz, Adam Haseley, Nick Pratto, and MacKenzie Gore.
This morning, Keith Law posted his latest mock draft and yet another name has been added to the mix.

Some mocks have had Lewis going earlier than this with even some folks saying that he is in consideration at #1. Lewis is an up the middle player with a really strong track record with the bat against high level competition. Law noted that he thinks if the Braves take him that they will move him to center field.
Even Law notes that the Braves are in on several players, so it will be interesting to see how that unfolds in the two weeks leading up to the draft. The 2017 draft starts on June 12th and we will have TONS of draft coverage leading up to that. Hopefully by then we will have a better sense of who the Braves will take by then.
