Major League Baseball issued updated voting results for the 2017 MLB All-Star Game on Monday and Braves outfielder Matt Kemp continues to make up ground.
Kemp was sixth among outfielders in last week’s voting update but moves up to fifth this week and closed the gap on Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward. Bryce Harper and Charlie Blackmon are pulling away but there is a nice battle developing for that final spot .

It is downright criminal that Ender Inciarte is no where to be found in the Top 15 and Atlanta fans need to step up and do something about that.
Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman takes over the voting lead at first base from Anthony Rizzo who falls to second. Freddie Freeman remains third but is being followed closely by Paul Goldschmidt.

Daniel Murphy is running away in second base voting leading Javier Baez by more than 400,000 votes. Atlanta’s Brandon Phillips is third and followed closely by Colorado’s DJ LeMahieu.

Fans can continue to cast votes until Thursday, June 29 at MLB.com and on all 30 team sites. The 2017 All-Star Game will be held on July 11 at Marlins Park in Miami.
