MLB has officially announced the starters and reserves for the 2017 NL All-Star Game in Miami, and the Braves will have at least one representative there. That man will be Ender Inciarte, who will be heading to his first career All-Star Game after being selected as a reserve.

It’s a well-deserved acknowledgement for the Braves’ starting center fielder, who has been playing some great baseball this season. He’s been a consistent presence at the top of the lineup for the Braves, as he’s gone into Sunday’s game hitting .303/.350/.400 with 97 wRC+ and six home runs.
However, we all know what Ender Inciarte’s calling card is, and that’s his defense. We’ll have to see if he’ll get a shot in the field during the game, but here’s hoping he does so he can show off that Gold Glove of his.
He’s definitely put it all together to become one of the best players that the Braves have, and this is definitely a well-earned honor for Ender Inciarte. It’ll be his first trip to the Midsummer Classic, and I’m willing to bet that it probably won’t be his last.
