The Atlanta Braves have officially announced the additions of Adam Fisher and Perry Minasian to the team’s front office. The move was initially reported earlier this week by USA TODAY’s Bob Nightengale but made official by the team today through a press release.
“We are thrilled to add Adam and Perry to our staff,” Coppolella said. “They are both extremely talented and hard-working individuals who will help to make the Braves better. Adam and Perry will play big roles as our organization continues to evolve and grow stronger.”
Fisher served as the senior director of baseball operations for the New York Mets in 2017 and has been a part of their organisation since 2003. He will serve as assistant general manager with the Braves.
Minasian will serve as the team’s director of player personnel and brings 29 years worth of experience with him to Atlanta. He served as the Blue Jay’s director of professional scouting from 2011 to 2016 before becoming special assistant to the general manager in 2017.
