After struggling over the early part of the season, Teheran has returned to form during August and September. He spun seven shutout innings in his last start against Washington and is 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA over his last three outings.

Sunday’s start with be Teheran’s 30th of the season and his fifth against the Mets. Teheran is 1-1 with a 3.33 ERA in those four starts against New York this season allowing nine runs over 24 1/3 innings.

The Mets will counter with right hander Robert Gsellman who will be looking to bounce back after a rough outing in his last start.
