The Braves had a chance to score early in the game in the bottom of the fourth inning. Tyler Flowers led off the inning with a sharp single to left and then Dansby Swanson went the other way to put runners on first and third for Rio Ruiz. Upon review Flowers was called out and the Braves couldn’t scratch across a run.

The Braves pitched a great game but did not put up a lot of offense against Henderson Alvarez who has historically looked awful against the Braves but tonight pitched like an ace.

Dansby advance to second on the throw and Rio Ruiz was intentionally walked. With Lane Adams up Luis Garcia threw a wild pitch to bring the runners to second and third. Johan Camargo came up and slammed a double to right to score Dansby and Rio giving the Braves a 4-2 lead.
