Ozzie Albies has had himself quite a debut for the Braves. In his first 53 games in the major leagues, he has put up a .281/.356/.447 line with five home runs, 31 runs scored, 26 RBIs, and seven stolen bases while very ably manning second base. His performance has strengthened the resolve of those who considered him among the top prospects in baseball before his promotion earlier this year.
However, his performance has also gotten him a large number of fans....including a rather unexpected one.

Yes, it is THAT Charlie Sheen...he of “Major League” and other, less wholesome fame. Aside from the #LethalPoetry hashtag which apparently leads into a whole different rabbit hole of the internet, it seems like Wild Thing is a big Ozzie Albies fan. Why he chose to express that love in a strange form of beat poetry we may never know...but it was pretty glorious.
To Ozzie’s credit, he seems appreciative of the love.
Thank you I appreciate your comment. Saw you pitched in your prime LOL Always been a fan!⚾️

No word yet on the status of Ozzie having “tiger blood” or “Adonis DNA” but based on his performance thus far in combination with Sheen’s endorsement...well, the odds may be better than you think.
There is also this picture of Albies in a Toad from Mario costume (all of the rookies had to wear costumes as per the usually rookie dues being paid) that we will present right here without comment.
