Baseball America names Braves’ farm system the best in baseball again

The loss of multiple top international prospects this offseason was no doubt a blow to the organization, but with countless intriguing arms and the top prospect in baseball in Ronald Acuna, the Braves are still loaded.
Keith Law calls Braves ‘stacked’ in NL East prospect roundup
See, I told you. Keith Law released his top prospects last week, with Acuna taking the top spot. Law gave a glowing review of Acuna’s abilities, even mentioning Mike Trout, which is never a bad thing. Inbox: Could Braves acquire Prado or Frazier?
Braves beat writer Mark Bowman discusses the options for Atlanta at third base, where they have struggled to find consistent production since the departure of Chipper Jones. Among the internal candidates, Johan Camargo and Rio Ruiz are the front-runners, but the club could decide to pursue a veteran such as Todd Frazier or Martin Prado.
This year seems to be a perfect opportunity to give Camargo a chance to build on last year’s success and show what he can do while playing on an everyday basis over an entire season.
It certainly seems more prudent to make this evaluation now as opposed to next year, when -- with the development of some young starting pitchers and sound use of the $40-60 million they’ll have to spend -- the Braves could indeed stand as a legit postseason contender in need of a now piece.
Bowman goes on to discuss the ever-fluctuating value of Julio Teheran and the chance that Dustin Peterson wins an outfield job with Atlanta this spring.

Grant McAuley continues his spring training preview with an in-depth look at the Braves outfield situation as things stand currently.
