As expected, the Atlanta Braves will go with Mike Foltynewicz as the team’s starter for Game 4 of the NLDS on Monday. Brian Snitker confirmed that Folty would start shortly after Sunday’s Game 3 win over the Dodgers.

Foltynewicz will be working on just three days rest but he threw just 50 pitches in Game 1 after allowing four earned runs in just two innings. He allowed three hits, two of which left the ball park.
Atlanta used seven pitchers in Sunday’s Game 3 win. Sean Newcomb worked 2.2 innings while Kevin Gausman two innings in relief. Additionally, Arodys Vizcaino needed 31 pitches to nail down the victory in the ninth which would put his availability in doubt for Monday’s game.
