Video: Highlights of Braves’ win over Phillies

Julio Teheran needed a good performance and came through in a 2-1 win over the Phillies

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Julio Teheran turned in his best start of the season while the Atlanta Braves came up with just enough offense in a 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

After allowing a first inning home run to Odubel Herrera, Teheran dialed in and through his most dominant start of the season. Teheran allowed five hits and one run over six innings. He walked three and struck out nine.

All nine of Teheran’s strikeouts were of the swing and miss variety.

Ozzie Albies added two more hits and showed off his speed tagging up and scoring on a shallow fly ball by Kurt Suzuki to put Atlanta in front.
