The Freeze now has his own baseball card

And you can even get it signed at the ballpark

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

The Braves are back in town and so is in-game promo Beat The Freeze. The infamous foot race around the warning track is a big sensation in it’s second year at Suntrust Park. Topps decided to get in on the action and release The Freeze’s first baseball card.

This card can be found in 2018 Topps Opening Day which released March 14th, 2018. Opening Day is traditionally a cost efficient product with a focus on inserts rather that large hits. The Freeze is featured as card #TTC-TF in the Team Traditions & Celebrations insert set. You can purchase a blaster (retail box containing 11 packs) from Walmart for $8.99. In my opinion, this is an excellent choice for kids or those who are just starting to collect.

If you are an in-person autograph collector like me, my first thought was “Hey, this would look great signed!”. Since The Freeze, otherwise known as Nigel Talton, is easy to find at Suntrust Park, fans such as Joe Webster (@JoeWeb10) have been able to score some Freeze autographs this season.
