Ender Inciarte got the night started off right running this ball down and bringing it back to rob a home run from Scott Kingery in the first.
Trailing 1-0 in the fifth, Ryan Flaherty came back to haunt his old club again launching a three-run home run to put Atlanta in front. Flaherty finished 2-for-4 in the game with a homer and four RBI.
Dansby Swanson added an insurance run in the seventh with a long solo home run off the facade of the second deck.
Of course everyone was left holding their breath after Freddie Freeman was hit by a pitch on his left wrist. Freeman didn’t even wait for the trainer, he simply walked straight into the Braves’ dugout and down into the tunnel. The whole thing was eerily similar to last season’s hit by pitch that cost Freeman 44 games.
