Braves stun Mets bullpen late in 4-3 comeback win

The Atlanta Braves erased a 3-0 deficit and stunned the New York Mets with a walk-off 4-3 victory. Julio Teheran turned in another great performance while Ender Inciarte provided the excitement in the ninth with a “walk-off” bunt single that scored Johan Camargo to give Atlanta the win.

Flowers to begin rehab assignment this week

Braves catcher Tyler Flowers is on his way back from an oblique injury and is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment this week at Triple-A Gwinnett. The plan for Flowers is to catch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and then again on Friday. He will be reevaluated at that point.

Braves designate Josh Ravin for assignment, select contract of Miguel Socolovich

Atlanta continues to shuffle bullpen pieces. The team designated reliever Josh Ravin for assignment on Saturday and selected the contract of RHP Miguel Socolovich from Gwinnett.

With Justin Vargas nearing a return, the Mets are moving the struggling Matt Harvey to the bullpen.

Oakland left hander Sean Manaea tossed the first no-hitter of the 2018 season Saturday night against the Boston Red Sox. Manaea needed just 108 pitches while walking two batters and striking out 10.

Yankees To Promote Gleyber Torres

The wait is over for Yankees’ top prospect Gleyber Torres. New York is reportedly set to call him up in time for Sunday’s game against Toronto.
