Acuna and Albies steal the show as the Braves knock off the Reds.

MLB: Atlanta Braves at Cincinnati Reds David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ozzie Albies put on a show today as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Cincinnati Reds 7-4 to salvage a split in the four-game series.

Acuna had a big day at the plate going 3-for-4 while driving in two runs. He made sure his first home run was memorable with a titanic blast into the second deck at Great American Ballpark.

Nice to see that Acuna’s teammates can have a little fun as well.

Not to be outdone, Albies homered for the second straight night and set the franchise record for most extra-base hits in the month of April. Albies was 2-for-5 in the game with three RBI.

Albies also showed that he can do it with the glove as well. Here he goes deep into foul territory and successfully navigates the tarp to flag down a foul pop.
