Atlanta’s best scoring chance came in the fourth inning when Freddie Freeman led off with a walk and then advanced to third on this double by Nick Markakis. Straily got Tyler Flowers to pop out and then intentionally walked Ender Inciarte to load the bases. However, Jose Bautista struck out and Johan Camargo flied out to center to end the threat.
Straily began the season on the disabled list and struggled in his first few starts but is rounding into form. He was the story in this one as he kept Atlanta off balance all evening allowing three hits and three walks over seven shut out innings.
