Slumping Albies will be fine, Freeman says
Ozzie Albies went 0-for-5 in Saturday’s game but Freddie Freeman tells the AJC’s David O’Brien that he will be fine.
“You’re going to go through ups and downs as a young player, and even as a veteran guy,” said Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman, the National League leader in OBP (.430) and OPS (.990) and a player who has learned through the years how to shorten the length of his slumps. “Ozzie knows what he can do and he knows he’s going to come out of it. I think when you start having so much success you want to keep that success going, and sometimes you can put a little too much pressure on yourself.”
