Ozzie Albies and Freddie Freeman go yard against Mets
The Braves were back to hitting on all cylinders as they were expected to against the Mets who are really struggling with injuries and bad play currently. Ozzie Albies belted his 16th homer of the season and Mike Foltynewicz gave Atlanta 5 scoreless before leaving the game.
Mike Foltynewicz leaves early with injury precautions
Folty was forced to an early exit last night with what the Braves are calling “triceps tightness”. The big righty is expected to be all good for his next start and claimed post game that the early hook was strictly precautionary.
Ronnie nearing return to lineup
The Braves’ young outfield phenom is reportedly looking very healthy in pregame drills and warm up routines and could return as early as this weekend. He is expected to play in at least one minor league game to get a tune-up for his exciting return.
Playoffs you say? Yes please. The Braves are playing like a legitimate team as no one could have predicted and as a result are getting taken more and more seriously as a team with an outside shot to make it to the big stage.

In some better news Blue Jays’ shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is heading uphill fast and sees an end to this long injury tunnel. Tulo hasn’t played since July of last season but is finally feeling good enough to take ground balls and hit some.
The Cubs and Brewers forgot how to baseball for a moment
The Cubs managed to get the Brewers in the middle of a TOOTBLAN situation but had an even bigger brain fart that allowed Milwaukee to escape unharmed. The video seems like it would be better set to Yackety Sax than the announcers.
