Fanpost Friday: Your favorite pitch

Happy Friday, people. For today’s Fanpost Friday, the prompt is simple: tell us about your favorite pitch, and I don’t mean “changeup.” I mean, specifically, whose changeup? Or slider, fastball, curveball, knuckleball, etc. etc.

Tell us why. Tell us what makes it so good. It’s easy to get gifs of many pitches, too — the great folks at Pitcher List provide gifs of essentially every pitch for every player. (For example, here’s the Anibal Sanchez page. It doesn’t include all of his offerings, like the strange frisbee pitch he throws, but still gives you a sense of his kitchen sink nature as a pitcher.)

Pitches from minor league hurlers work too, the video evidence may just be harder to procure. And no, this isn’t limited to only Braves pitchers, though you are probably happier if your favorite pitch happens to come from a player that is/was on your favorite team.
